By Car via the Brenner Highway
Via the Brenner highway, take exit Brixen/Pustertal (Bressanone/Val Pusteria) and follow the main road direction Bruneck into the Pustertal. 4 km down the road you will see a tunnel; before you reach it, you will take a right into the road direction Mühlbach. In Mühlbach take a left towards Meransen. Follow the road for approximately 7.5 kilometers. Turn left in the last curve before the main town of Meransen and follow the signs to the “Birkenhof”.

By Plane
Regular flights are available to and from Bozen (Airport Bozen Dolomiti), Innsbruck (A), Verona or Treviso. Your travel agency can provide you with flight information.

By Train
The destination station for your arrival is Mühlbach (Rio di Pusteria). Traveling from north to south, it takes you through Innsbruck, Brenner, Bozen. Franzensfeste (Fortezza) is the transfer station. The east-west route passes through Lienz, Innichen and Franzensfeste.
You can continue your travels from Mühlbach by bus or taxi. You also have the option of taking the cable car to Meransen – the valley station is only a 5-minute walk from the train station. We also offer shuttle service for our arriving and departing guests to and from the nearest train station, bus station or cable car station. Please inform us prior to your arrival should you require this service.
