Birkenhof was newly established in 2005-2006. The quiet and sunny location, 1,440 meters above sea level in the resort area of Meransen-Gitschberg, invites you to relax amidst lush green meadows and forests.

Enjoy your holiday on our farm with its magnificent panoramic view of the Isarco, Val Pusteria and into the Dolomites. The farm is located just 10 minutes from the center of Meransen and provides an excellent starting point for numerous leisure time activities in South Tyrol, no matter what season.
     
     
 
     
We are looking forward to your stay with us!
Klara and Walter Köck with the children Julia, Norbert and Michaela as well as grandparents Luise and Johann.

Grandpa Johann takes care of and rears the herd of "Pustertaler Sprinzen" cattle, a breed that almost disappeared from South Tyrol after the Second World War. In the days of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy these beasts were considered to be the best breed of cattle around.
Grandma Luise enjoys chatting with our guests and helps out where she can. We have to thank her in particular for the numerous flowers and shrubs around our farmhouse.

The local bakery will provide you with fresh breads upon request and you can also order various fresh farm products such as milk, jams, juices and vegetables from the farm’s garden.
